The design is clunky and awkward. Please just quietly admit the mistake and give us back the old version. The audio system is crappy. First, it used to store data where the track stopped on my phone. Now it needs network connection to pick up where I stopped. Sometimes it takes a minute to resume and sometimes it plays the wrong track from beginning. Second, now if I close the app or the screen is locked for inactivity, the audio stops.
I have to resume in the app. It is super annoying when I listen to the audio while driving. Third, if I downloaded the audios of section 1 and section 3, but not section 2. After it finishes the last track of section 1, it streams the first track of section 2 instead of playing the already downloaded track of section 3. It used to play the track of section 3 not 2 a few years ago.
This change is implemented a few patches back. I hate it. The download system is not working well neither. Sometimes I downloaded the audios of certain sections of the issue and saw the blue check mark for the section. The next day I found that few tracks are not downloaded, and I have to download again.
